Reformed Pathan ready to demolish bowlers around the world

“Success always comes when preparation meets opporutnity". This quote  perfectly suits to Yusuf Pathan after playing that scintillating Bengaluru innings.  Before this innings lot said about this big Pathan of Baroda and everybody was considering him player of T20 and talking about his weakness of playing short-pitch balls but that didn't bother him much as he worked hard on his technique and overcome the difficulty of playing short ball and soon he got the opportunity to show-case his talent which he grabbed with both hands and help Team India to win the match from losing situation.

Its not like that Yusuf was not known much. Who can forget his 37 ball century in IPL-3 against Mumbai or his double century in Deodhar Trophy final  last season. He is having reputation of demolishing any bowling on his day but he was unfortunate that couldn't convert his  performances into big innings in  ODIs. There is reason also why his record looks poor in International cricket because he never got the opportunity to bat higher in the order and whenever came in to batting 5-6 overs left for him to play where he has to score from ball one rather than settle down and build his innings, so it is mistake to quote that Yusuf is only T20 player. He got the opportunity in Bengaluru where he got more than 25 overs to play and he showed what a fantastic player he is. Yusuf made a strong  statement that he has the ability to stay at wicket and have good head on his shoulder. Yusuf also shown that he can build innings and can mould himself according to the demand of team and the  situation and that make him exceptional and mature player. There are very few players in International cricket who can play like Yusuf Pathan. Yusuf is now terror for the bowlers around the world. He has reformed himself considerably during the break he got from the international cricket and now we can see much improved Yusuf Pathan who is ready to conquer the cricket world. I think many records are in danger now.  Especially fastest Hundred of Shahid Afridi, Six Sixes of Yuvraj, etc. Beware bowlers.

Now it will be interesting to see how he performs in South Africa and I am sure he will become much improved player after South Africa tour as he will learn a lot on that tour about playing on fast and bouncy pitches.
